The Six Factions of the Regime

The current regime isn’t a monolith. It’s a coalition of (at least) six factions, each with its own motivations but working toward the same end: dismantling democracy and consolidating power. Understanding these factions is critical to recognizing who benefits, how power is shifting, and what comes next.

This isn't meant to be a fully comprehensive breakdown of everything happening. It's just a summary of general knowledge to open the curtain for those who may not have encountered this information yet. If this is new to you, take it as a starting point for deeper research.

The Six Factions

1. MAGA Base (The Red Caps) – The mass movement. These are the die-hard Trump supporters, including QAnon believers and militia groups. They are less strategic and more reactionary, acting as the enforcement wing when needed. Their role is social control—suppressing dissent through intimidation and mass obedience, similar to the Brownshirts in Nazi Germany.

2. Christian Nationalists (Project 2025 Architects) – The theocratic wing. Their goal is to merge church and state, dismantle secular governance, and enforce biblical law. Project 2025 is their blueprint for purging the federal government of non-believers and restructuring the legal system to align with religious doctrine. This faction includes organizations like The Heritage Foundation and legal groups like Alliance Defending Freedom. Russell Vought, head of OMB, is one of their key figures.

3. Technocrat Oligarchs (The Dark MAGA / Dark Enlightenment Movement) – The digital neofeudalists. This group believes democracy is outdated and should be replaced by a system where billionaires rule autonomous “network states.” Their vision is a techno-authoritarian society governed through AI, blockchain, and surveillance capitalism. Key figures include Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Balaji Srinivasan, and Curtis Yarvin (aka Mencius Moldbug), who openly advocates for a CEO-style monarchy.

4. Intelligence & Military Industrial Complex (Deep State Absorption) – The enforcers. Some factions within the Pentagon, CIA, and NSA are aligning with the regime, not out of ideological loyalty but to maintain influence in the new order. Their focus is on securing long-term military budgets, controlling intelligence operations, and using security laws to suppress domestic resistance. If Trump declares an emergency, they will be the ones enforcing it.

5. Corporate & Resource Oligarchs (The Extractive Class) – The economic overlords. This faction consists of fossil fuel magnates, real estate tycoons, and private equity elites who want total deregulation and the privatization of public assets. They fund the Christian nationalist movement and MAGA politicians because a theocratic, authoritarian state will protect their wealth and remove environmental, labor, and financial restrictions.

6. Foreign Influence Networks (The Shadow Beneficiaries) – Global authoritarian allies. Russia, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, and other autocratic regimes benefit from U.S. destabilization. These foreign actors provide financial and political backing to ensure the U.S. weakens itself internally, making it easier to extract resources and undermine Western alliances.

The Technocrat Oligarchs & The Network State Agenda

This faction is the least understood but one of the most dangerous. Their goal is not just to take over government but to replace it entirely.

What they believe:

• Democracy is outdated and should be replaced by a decentralized system of private “network states” run by billionaires.

• AI, predictive policing, and mass surveillance should replace traditional governance.

• A small ultra-wealthy elite should rule society, with citizenship treated as a privilege granted (or revoked) by those in power.

Key figures:

• Elon Musk – Using Twitter/X, Starlink, and Neuralink to reshape digital speech, finance, and surveillance.

• Peter Thiel – Openly supports authoritarian rule, has funded right-wing extremist candidates, and is involved in Palantir, a major data surveillance firm.

• Curtis Yarvin (Mencius Moldbug) – The ideological brain behind the Dark Enlightenment. Advocates for dismantling democracy and replacing it with a monarchy or corporate governance.

• Balaji Srinivasan – Coined the term “Network State,” advocates for billionaire-led city-states that operate outside national law.

• Venture Capital & AI Elite – This includes investors backing projects designed to erode national sovereignty and shift control to private tech enclaves.

The goal of this faction is to create privatized micro-nations where billionaires operate with total autonomy. This isn’t hypothetical—projects like Prospera in Honduras and Seasteading in international waters are early test cases.

What Can We Do?

1. Expose the Technocrat Oligarchs. The public barely understands what they’re doing, and they thrive in the shadows. Their long-term plan is to make authoritarianism seem like technological “progress.”

2. Recognize that these factions are not fully unified. They have competing interests and can be divided. The technocrats want a corporate monarchy, the Christian nationalists want a theocracy, and the MAGA base just wants to “own the libs.” These contradictions can be exploited.

3. Don’t let digital infrastructure be privatized by these actors. The goal of Musk, Thiel, and Srinivasan is to make digital platforms the new government. If they succeed, laws won’t matter—whoever controls the platform controls reality.

4. Support efforts to break up monopolies in tech, finance, and military contracting. This is how they’re consolidating power.

5. Call out misinformation designed to normalize authoritarian narratives. The goal of mass propaganda isn’t to make you believe a single lie, it’s to make truth impossible to find.
